Gladius, Julius Cæsar
A Roman Gladius sword of the Mainz type, used by the Roman armies for 3 centuries (between 2nd Century BC and the 1st century A.D). It was primarily a thrusting sword, used for close quarter combat. Marto’s rendition of the Roman Gladius Sword is made of 440 Stainless steel. The sword requires minimal care, The brass plated cast metal hit is decorated with Roman figures while the grip is segmented into anatomical sections.
